Resiliency Police Officer Helpline In Valor, there is Hope

Approximately 200 RPO Master Resilience Trainers were assigned a Cop 2 Cop RPO liaison team member during our March MRT Training event. When COVID struck shortly after the MRT training, we decided to establish a plan for weekly outreach calls for 90 days from the Cop 2 Cop liaisons. Using the COVID 19 script, RPO’s received outreach calls from their C2C liaison and were asked the COVID 19 adaptation questions and offered self-care tips and wellness plans. The receptive feedback and integration of our support for the RPO’s as they lead in their communities in the COVID Crisis has established a variety of crisis services, referrals and peer counseling cases as an unanticipated benefit of the Cop 2 Cop RPO project.
