But the doctor treating him is secretly Psycho-Man in disguise — and instead of healing Deadpool's fractured mind he breaks it completely. For the first time in his life Wade fully comprehends the truth. He is a fictional character. Forced to suffer, die and regenerate endlessly across hundreds of comic issues purely for the entertainment of readers. Every wound was scripted. Every loss was planned.
