Tasmanians ‘sick of talking’ about new AFL stadium

Tasmania Opposition Leader Rebecca White says if elected premier she will prioritise the growing cost of living crisis, not the controversial new AFL stadium.

“The majority of people I talk to are sick of talking about the stadium,” she said during a rally on Friday.

“They want a government that’s focused on getting the basics right.

“The Liberal Party and their Premier can obsess about a stadium and the AFL all they like.

“I’m focused on tackling the cost of living, and I’ll be a premier that puts that first.”
