Guys, it is time to get rid of those love handles! There are a few things that go into losing your love handles, but one of the biggest things is working out your core. That is why I am going to give you an intense 5 minute at home love handles workout for men over 50. This is a quick workout, so there is no excuse for not being able to do this workout. This is a circuit based workout that does not require any equipment, so you can do this workout anywhere as well. To lose love handles, the only way is to lose body fat.
To lose body fat, you need to take in fewer calories everyday by being in a caloric deficit. You also want to focus on nutrition and exercise. Today, we are going to focus on the exercise. This workout consists of 4 exercises, and each exercise is about 15 seconds. Do the exercises back to back then rest for 60 seconds after the last exercise, you are going to do a total of 3 circuits. Let’s get started with this intense 5 minute at home love handles workout for men over 50.
Exercise #1: MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS. Go as fast as you can for the 15 seconds, but do your best to go for the full time.
Exercise #2: BODYWEIGHT SQUATS. For this exercise, you want to go as fast as you can while still utilizing good form.
Exercise #3: PUSH-UPS. If you are a beginner, it is okay to do knee push ups if you need to. The goal is always to improve, so if you are doing knee push ups to start, aim to eventually get to regular push ups.
Exercise #4: JUMPING JACKS. Really do full range of motion jumping jacks to get the most out of this circuit.
Don’t wait until you catch your breath to start the next round of circuits, push yourself and start again after 60 seconds of rest. Listen to your body though, and if you need more time to rest, that is okay.
