Egg biryani | Egg dum biryani | Easy biriyani recipe |The Cookbook

A simple egg biryani would be perfect for lunch. Easy to prepare with less ingredients.

For Gravy:
Boiled Egg- 4
Vegetable Ghee/ Oil- 2 table spoon
Onion- 2 ( thinly sliced)
Salt-1&1/2 teaspoon ( to taste)
Tomato-2 ( Chopped)
Green Chilli-4-5 ( crushed)
Ginger garlic paste-1 teaspoon
Chopped Coriander and Mint leaves- 2 table spoon
Turmeric powder-1/4 teaspoon
Pepper powder-1/2 teaspoon
Yogurt- 3 tablespoon
biriyani masala/ garam masala- 1/2 teaspoon

For rice:
Basmati Rice- 2 cups ( washed and soaked for 40 minutes and drained)
water-6 cups
salt-2 teaspoon ( to taste)
Oil- 1 table spoon
spices:
Bay leaf-1, Cinnamon stick- 1 small piece, Cardamom-4, Cloves-4

For layering:
Ghee- 2-3 tablespoon
Garam Masala-1/2 teaspoon
Coriander leaves
