There are some very big changes for social security benefits in 2023. Perhaps, the biggest change of all to social security benefits, including SSI and SSDI, is one of the largest cost of living adjustments (COLA) of all time at 8.7%. At some point in December, you should receive a letter in the mail detailing what your social security payments should look like for next year.
