Here we talk about the current state of the most common form of dementia: Alzheimer's. It is stated that Alzheimer's will affect over 130 million people by 2050. We discuss current theories about the pathology and the progression of this neurodegenerative disease. Next week we will further discuss why there is currently no treatment or cure for Alzheimer's.
