Wifi IP camera review
This is the second 'fish eye' wireless IP camera that I have bought.

The first one was a 720p resolution and after finding how easy that was to operate, I have decided to upgrade to 1080p. Having had a couple of Pan/Tilt cameras. I was happy to buy it because of where it was going to be going in the room and having received it and had the chance to play with it for a few days now, I have found that there is probably more customizability to it than with the T&P camera's. Lots of setting that you change and when you decide on the sort of view you want from the camera, you can zoom in on the screen and move around the full screen view with your finger. Almost like you view a 360 degree picture on the phone or PC. To put that into context, when I have used the T&P cameras, to look around the room takes a while and can be frustrating when you are moving backwards and forwards to check things. With this though, the whole of the room is in the picture at the same time.
Small, light and easy to fix where ever you want with the supplied bracket. I have stuck mine up with Pritt Tabs which I wouldn't be able to do with a heavier camera. I easily set up the camera on my home network with the audible pairing function. You just need to register the app so it can let you know if there are any alarms and then give it your home network password so that the camera can join. The only thing I will say about the pairing process was that when I tried to open the camera from the app, it showed it working but no pic cam on. I closed the app and reopened it and hey presto, a perfect, zoomable picture.
Also the 2-way audio is good but apart from playing with it I don't have a use for it yet. It will alert you if the motion detection is activated and send you a Pic. You can also put a Micro SD card (upto 128gb) in to record while you are not there. It can take pictures whilst looking at the view on my phone as well, these are stored on the phone so easily accessible.
You get the option on the app to view in 1080 or 720 so that you get the best and fasted feed for your connection.
So, in summary:
Skill level to fit 3/10
Quality of recording 9/10
Ease of use and speed to navigate 10/10
Unobtrusiveness 10/10
Value for money 10/10
Because of the cost and ease of use (also the features that are available on such a small device), this is getting a 10/10 from me and a definite recommendation, I really can’t tell you how much easier the screen is to navigate compared to a Pan & tilt.
