Cécile Chaminade - L'Ondine, Op.101

This piece was published in 1900. L'Ondine is a water sprite, and probably most people would first think of Ravels Ondine or such. (Actually if I remember correctly I already played a piece like that by Chaminade, "Les Willis"); But this piece has its own charme. It reminds me of Christmas and has peaceful moments. I like the very pianistical figurations in the "veloce" passages. They are fun to play.
