Cruising on 100 year old track ND&W Railroad PREX 2026 PREX 105 train on truss bridge Santa Fe GP20

PREX 2026 in Santa Fe livery leads a short ND&W train east on the former Wabash 5th District. The train was just west of Okolona when I found them and they were heading west back to their yard in Defiance Ohio. This train was the first time I actually saw the conductor actually riding the train instead of following along in a company truck. They were going faster than any train I've filmed on the line too, maybe up to 10mph now! At Jewell they have put in a new siding which I have not seen used for anything but MofW yet... They also have a switch put in near the next road so it is possible they may eventually use it to meet trains. The elevator at Jewell does not use rail. At Defiance they cross the Maumee River and the over W 3rd street. That bridge still has a sign with the fallen flag shortline Indiana Hi-Rail on it. After the pulled up to the yard office I had to head off to work...
