DRIVING INTO FENCES & A COW WITH ITS HEAD STUCK. 01.09.2020

EVER SEEN A COW WITH ITS HEAD STUCK BETWEEN TWO TREES? Ya, us either. Watch as husband successfully helps a cow out (literally).
_______

Dear viewer:

Today’s video is all about – well, I hate to say it again, but yes - moving cattle. We do live on a ranch so cut us some slack we do lots of cow stuff. The video starts with a funny introduction about husband losing his phone (you’ll come to learn luke is ALWAYS losing stuff) and his recap of checking twitter while moving feed bunks and driving into the fence. Then we saddle up and head out to pasture. Today we’re moving around two bunches of cattle. For the most part it goes fairly well. Besides the fact that they kept scattering, or the fact we found a cow with its head stuck in the tree, or the fact that two bunches got mixed and we had to open sort cattle out in pasture (which isn’t the easiest to do – cue husband cussing ha). Don on 82 year old hired hand makes a cameo. Despite all the ups and downs I cant complain too much as it was another beautiful day out in pasture on horseback. Hope you enjoy tagging along.

Until next time,
The Kovariks.

Hi Friends. We're the Kovarik's - a family of four ranching in central Nebraska. We're a first generation ranch sourcing our knowledge and work ethic from our 5th generation roots. Most days are a simple mess of family moments we've collected out in pasture on horseback or bouncing around in some dusty ranch trunk or tractor, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Luke’s the main rancher around here so we try and do what he tells us, but truth be told, were not always listening. Natalie is one hell of a #ranchwife who holds the home and acres together, and Tad (14) and Jaks (18 mos) are our two wild cowboys who depending on the day fluctuate between “literally no help” and “wow you were helpful I think we’ll keep you”. At the end of the day we’re just a typical rural American family living the rural American dream. So sit back, hang out and join us as we spend our days ranching & family-ing.
