Guided Meditation for Pregnancy: Navigating Unexpected Times | Expectful
We know you are likely facing the unexpected right now. In this grounding meditation, you will focus on processing your emotions around challenges to access inner peace and strength.

Hi sweet Mamas to be. This is Emily Fletcher, and I'm so honored to be sharing this time with you. My intention is that on the other side of this guided experience, you feel more present in your body, more resilient, more trusting of your own strength, and more able to surrender to. Whatever life is giving us, however life is teaching us.
So before we dive in, I wanna share something that's been bringing me a lot of comfort and it's simply the serenity prayer. It has the G word in it, but you can replace that for whatever brings you comfort, but it's simply God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.
Give me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. And this intention, I invite you to hold with you as we move through this experience to know that. We are not in charge of every external circumstance. We are not in charge of when or how these babies are brought into the world.
We are in charge of our feeling right here, right now. We are in charge of our resilience. We are in charge of our surrendering. We are in charge of our listening. So with that, I invite you to have a seat with your back supported, you're head free. You don't have to be in any uncomfortable position. You don't have to have fancy fingers just letting your body be easy and soft.
Think of this as a time to rest, to rejuvenate, to recharge, and I invite you to inhale through your nose for the count of two and exhaling through your mouth for four.
Inhaling through your nose for two. And exhaling through your mouth for four.
You can start to do this in your own time. You're simply doubling the length of the inhale from the exhale. And as you exhale, letting every muscle in your body soften, feeling your brow soften, your jaw go loose, your shoulders drop. And as you inhale, imagine breathing into your belly, breathing into your baby, breathing in space, into your heart, and as you exhale again, letting your jaw drop, letting your shoulders soften.
Letting your belly become expansive, feeling your feet spread, and again, inhaling, breathing deep into your belly, breathing into your heart, creating space for more love, more acceptance, more surrender. And as you exhale, imagine every single muscle in your body, softening. Surrendering to your seat, letting wherever you're sitting fully support you.
Letting gravity hold your body down and imagine yourself just for a moment floating in space and yet simultaneously, fully supported by gravity and your seat, reminding yourself that there's nowhere you have to go. There's nothing you have to do. You have already arrived.
Giving yourself permission to arrive in your body in this moment in time, giving yourself a million high fives for choosing to take this time for yourself, for choosing to heal your own body, for choosing to strengthen your resilience, and to strengthen and to strengthen your ability to surrender.
So taking one final breath. Inhaling biggest inhale you've taken all week and as you exhale letting go of any anxiety, any stress, any speculation, any need to control an uncontrollable situation. I really good. And from here, we can let our breath be easy and soft, just natural. We don't have to manipulate it in any direction.
