How to remove hair dye | No bleach | No damage

I have been wanting to remove the hair dye from my hair without bleaching or damaging it, so I started looking round youtube to see what other people were doing to strip the colour from their hair and found this method to remove hair dye without any bleach and without causing any damage.

Now I am deciding whether I should try a colour on top of this lighter colour or if I should bleach it further before applying. What do you think? Answer in the comments below:

Bleach it then dye it or put a colour on it the way it is?

Method 1:
20 Vitamin C effervescent tablets crushed up and mixed with head and shoulders. Apply to damp hair. Wrap hair in cling film for one hour, then rinse.

Method 2&3:
Crush 80 Aldi vitamin C tablets and mix with head and shoulders. Apply to damp hair and lather like a shampoo. Wrap hair in cling film for one hour, then rinse
