REMOVE HAIR DYE WITH BAKING SODA!!!!

DISCLAIMER :

I am a licensed & professional hairstylist & have been for more than 15 years now. This is NOT a traditional hairdressing technique used in professional hair salons. This is simply a non traditional technique that I have found to be quite successful with my own hair & I love to use it to remove temporary hair colour or semi permanent hair colour without using any bleach, leaving your hair with minimal damage in comparison to using bleach. THIS METHOD DOES NOT LIGHTEN PERMANENT HAIR COLOUR !!!!
Before using the mixture on all of your hair, PLEASE do a test strand first to see how your hair responds to the mixture as everyone’s hair is different!! Do not apply the mixture to your natural virgin hair & regrowth as the mixture will lighten your natural hair & root colour up from 1 to 2 shades lighter. After the strand test, check the colour & condition of your hair before you proceed!! I do NOT recommend using this technique if you have previously bleached your hair & the existing condition is over processed or if you have damaged/ brittle / broken hair.
I hope you find this video helpful. ENJOY!

Things you will need,
mixing bowl
colour brush
colour cape
gloves
clips

First pour the bi carb soda into the mixing bowl, I have long hair & used 500g, then add the 10vol peroxide into the bowl & mix the two together until it is a smooth consistency, add two pumps of dishwashing liquid (optional) & also two pumps of the violet toning shampoo & mix all of the four ingredients together. Starting from the underneath section of your hair & working your way to the front, apply the mixture (avoid virgin hair, as this mixture can lightened natural hair up to 2 shades lighter) then rinse thoroughly and shampoo twice, with the first wash use a normal shampoo and then for the second wash use the violet toning shampoo & leave that in from 5 to 10 minutes & then use a deep conditioning treatment, leave for at least 20 minutes and then rinse & style your hair as usual.
