TRAVELING done RIGHT! Orkney Isles part 2 | Van Life in Scotland ep.14

Our vanlife story in Europe continues in Part 2 of The Orkney Isles, Scotland.
Where traveling in our campervan went wrong last time, traveling gone right in this episode.

We have been traveling around Scotland for 8 months, and the Orkney Isles were still on our bucketlist. Part 2 turned out to be a great adventure, and we got to see 5000 year old history in the village of Skara Brae.
The ring of Brodgar is also an old site and we got to spend the afternoon here.
Was this site used for freaky rituals or weddings? Nobody knows for sure.
When the vikings arrived, the left some pretty awesome things behind.
All and all, what a beautiful Island!

Miek had to be in the hospital in Aberdeen for a breast scan, but all ferries to the mainland were booked. So we got to sail on a working freight vessel, which was so cool! The MV Hildasay from Northlink Ferries shipped us and the van to Aberdeen. Watch the episode to see what happened. Make sure to watch Orkney part 1 for the full story.
