The North coast 500 is AMAZING! I also added in Skye 🥰 I hope you enjoy!

Trip Itinerary Locations:

East to west Route

*Glasgow - Inverness (3hr)
*chanary point -(30 mins from Inverness)
*Dunrobin castle ( 1hr 7min from Chanary)

Sleep 1- Stayed over in Golspie
Day 2-
*Whaligoe steps ( 1hr from Golspie)

*John O’Groats (40mins)

*Duncan’s be view ( 5-10mins)

Sleep 2- Park cottage, brough, Thurso- https://abnb.me/LrbiCq2iHbb LOVED staying here!

Day 3-
*Dunnet Head

*A836- Drive and stop as you go

*Smoo caves (2h40ish direct drive) Stop Along the way for amazing views. So plan extra time.

*Sand wood bay beach & cape wrath .(33 Ish min) long walk

*Kylesku bridge- grab a pic! 😁

Sleep 3-Ullapool ( If you plan on arriving late or in busy season make sure you plan ahead for your food arrangements,Even if you’re staying at a hotel that has a restaurant… Book in advance!)

DAY 4-
*Drive route and stop along the way. Plenty of castles, waterfalls, etc.
*Eilean Donan castle ( There is parking directly outside)

*Loch carron Videpoint

*Drive to Skye

Day 5-

Must see- ( You need a car)
*Fairy Glen Uig
*Old man of Storr
*Mealt falls
*Portree Harbour
*Sligachan old Bridge- Eat food at the restaurant next to it
*Armadale caste & gardens
*Noisy point Lighthouse
*The Quiraing Vista- Don’t miss these views or drive. It’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.
Things you definitely need-
*Comfortable shoes & water sandals
*windbreaker
*midge spray
*Sun screen
*Midge head net- I only used it once on the trip and it was at the stacks. Midges are terrible little vampires. Make sure you get a net that is suitable. We didn’t have any problems with midges at any of the other places. * Take a cooler with plenty of snacks and food for your trip. I also recommend taking a first-aid kit and thermal blanket. As well as a map of Scotland. We used this one a lot when our phones weren’t working-
