The Twin Famicom is a Family Computer compatible console released by Sharp Corporation on July 1, 1986 . It combines the functionality of the original Family Computer console and Disk System released by Nintendo , and can play games from both ROM cartridges and Disk Cards.
The price at the time was 32,000 yen, which was more expensive than the combined price of the Family Computer (14,800 yen) and the Disk System (15,000 yen).
