PIT BOSS PELLET SMOKER | 2 1/2 HOURS ST LOUIS STYLE RIBS | HOW TO COOK TENDER MOIST PORK RIBS FAST
Step by step guide on how to cook St Louis style pork ribs FAST!!!
Serving 12 to 14 people based on 4 rack of ribs (4 to 5 bones each)
Ingredients:
Yellow mustard
Your favorite bbq rub(s)
Light brown sugar
Parkay squeeze liquid butter
Spritz (apple cider vinegar and apple juice) 50 - 50 blend
Recipe:
1) Pull membrane off back ribs, trim off any excess fat
2) Use yellow mustard to bind bbq rub(s) to ribs (smear mustard all sides)
3) Apply Bbq rub(s) to ribs (all sides), pat rub(s) down, allow to marinade for 15 - 20 minutes
4) Prep pellet smoker and bring up to temp of 300 (F), Place ribs inside pit (adjust ribs to ensure even cooking and straight bones)
5) Smoke/cook 2 1/2 hours at 300 (F) check after 1st hour then spritz to retain moisture and for coloring
6) After 2nd hour pull ribs off for wrapping process with double layer of heavy duty aluminum foil
7) Apply the following ingredients to ribs, (Spritz blend, light brown sugar, bbq rub(s), parkay liquid butter) you can also add honey or agave
8) Take ribs back to grill, cook for 30 minutes at 300 (F), probe for tenderness and doneness (probing should feel like room temp butter)
9) Take ribs off, add favorite bbq sauce and take ribs back to grill, smoke/cook for addition 15 minutes (you may skip this step)
10) Pull ribs of pit and allow to rest for 10 minutes, cut ribs uniformly, (ribs should look like square popsicle) serve and enjoy!!!!
