#1 My Child Toe Walks. Now What?: Pediatric Physical Therapy for Toe Walkers

In this video series, I discuss toe walking and treatment suggestions. My new co-instructor is Lynsey who is a toe-walker. I start with a general discussion of toe walking. I show normal ankle movement with a neurotypical child. Then you follow me as I assess a 6-year-old toe walker and follow-up with the treatment ideas that I would suggest. I appreciate so much Lynsey and her family being brave enough to be filmed to help people around the world. I hope you find this information helpful to guide you in assessment, treatment, home programming, and telehealth for children who toe walk. This should be considered only basic information about toe walking. There are people who teach toe walking in workshops for therapists. This presentation of information is not on that level. This discussion is geared toward parents on a more basic level.
