You are watching the ascent of a 73-year-old cyclist instead of a 19-year-old.
If my son hadn't fallen ill (from Covid) five days earlier, he would have taken the camera on board and the filmed ascent would be more interesting, faster and more interesting to watch for some.
So my son, who has recovered somewhat, will drive up to the top of the pass he has been training for all year by bike.
A few kilometers of the ascent will pass by the Laurent Fignon cycling path.
