Orlando's New $3.1 Billion South Terminal

Home to many world class theme parks, Orlando is one of the most visited cities in the United States. With all of these visitors comes a big increase in domestic and international travelers. The number of annual passengers, combined with the aircraft many airlines want to bring to the airport have both outsized the current facility, so Orlando is building a new South Terminal to handle bigger planes and the increased traffic.
