Security Scan - Indigenous Helicopters

India's leading aerospace manufacturer Hindustan Aeronautics Limited has started the groundwork to develop an indigenous medium lift helicopter. The project cost for Indian Multi Role Helicopter plan is expected to cross 10000 crore rupees mark with the first prototype set to be ready by 2023. According to the Chairman of HAL the aim of this project is to stop the import of more than 4 lakh crore worth of helicopters in this category. HAL's product range includes a number of Helicopters such as LCH - Light Combat Helicopter , multi role ALH - Advanced Light Helicopter and Chetak Helicopters.
