Something Fishy?

Tim's 'fish phone' kicks of a video about ... fish! This fish was made by Freemountain Toys, Inc. a company that was based in Bristol, Vermont, USA, and operated in the late 1970s. Inside the fish is a second fish, and inside that fish is a third fish. The food chain in action!

Then a very elegant fish key chain which Tim bought in Hong Kong in the year 2000, although he thinks it came from Japan originally.

A shark biro Tim bought in Japan - when you push the dorsal fin, you see it opening and closing its jaws!

A fish padlock, which is also a puzzle lock - you have to move one of the lateral fins in order to reveal the key hole; you then have to push one of the eyes in just a little way, and then you will be able to turn the key and open the lock.

A plastic shark called 'Chomp'. There seems to be a human leg poking out of the shark's mouth! If you squeeze the shark, the leg pops out a bit further....

From Play Visions, Inc, the 'Animags' - fish which come in two halves, each of which contains a magnet. You can place the two halves of either side of a clear sheet of plastic, or even a wine glass.

Finally a wind up coin bank. Pop a coin in and music plays and the picture animates. Charming!
