RECIPE Vegan Spread Cheese (gluten free, grain free, dairy free):
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cups raw cashews (soaked overnight)
- 3 TBSP coconut oil
- 3 TBSP olive oil
-1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
-1 TBSP roasted sesame seeds
- 1 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1tsp chopped fresh chives
- 1 tsp chopped parsley
- 1 tsp chopped dill
Drain the cashews, put it in a food processor with the olive oil, coconut oil, lemon juice, salt, sesame seeds and ground black pepper.
Once everything is blended, mix in the herbs (finely chopped) by hand.
Keep in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours and it's ready to enjoy!
Store for 1 week in the refrigerator in a sealed container.
