An inside look at some of the preparation and build up of the senior SA JKA national team prepairing for the JKA 14th Funakoshi Gichin Cup World Championships. The 2017 tournament will be held in Ireland.

August 14th Participants arriving to Limerick for the 14th Funakoshi Gichin Cup to be held in the University of limerick from the 14th to the 20th of August 2017.

Schedule August 14-16 (Mon-Wed) Registration for contestants and staff (ID cards, Pamphlets, contestant’s numbers shall be handed.

August 17(Thu) Dan & Qualification Exam Judges and managers meeting, International Directors meeting

August 18(Fri) Funakoshi Gichin Cup 14th Junior Karate World Championship Tournament 09:00 am to be started Individual Kata and Kumite, Preliminary and final matches

August 19 (Sat) Funakoshi Gichin Cup 14th Karate World Championship Tournament 09:00 am to be started Individual and Team, Kata and Kumite, Preliminary matches

August 20 (Sun) Funakoshi Gichin Cup 14th Karate World Championship Tournament 09:00 am to be started Opening ceremony, Individual and Team, Kata and Kumite Final matches.
