Sir, you can't park your container there!

Received a call from this customer to recover a tractor w/ container with the rear in a ditch. The container was loaded (45,000lbs), leaning on another container and all the pressure resting on the landing gear.

I backed my truck up parallel to the container to allow traffic to flow freely in front of me, and used my container slings to lift from the sunken side to swing over to level ground. Once on level ground, the customer was able to drive it to his destination.

A few hours after this job, I received a call from Jonas at Kustom Tow to assist in a shifted load job on the freeway. Turns out the solution was MUCH easier than originally planned. Instead of removing the totes of scrap metal to transport on a Landoll, the owner wanted the bags cut to spill the load and even out the weight inside the container on both sides. Then I used my winch cable to move a couple bags strategically for better weight distribution. All in all another fun day for me at Pepe's.
