NILAGANG PATA NG BABOY

Masarap humigop ng mainit na sabaw sa panahon ng tag-ulan.

Binabahagi ko po ang version ko ng nilagang baboy na hinain ko sa aking pamilya. Sadya pong nilagyan ko ng maraming sangkap na gulay para lalo itong maging masustansya. More gulay para makaiwas sa sakit dulot ng maulang panahong ngayon.

Ang nilaga po ay classic Filipino soup dish, napaka simple lang po ng lasa nito and the best kapartner nito ay ang sawsawang patis with calamansi and sili. Ang masabaw na ulam na ito ay madalas na naikukumpara sa pochero. Ang pochero po ay may tomato sauce at ang nilaga po ay walang tomato sauce. Maari din po na hindi kumpletuhin ang mga gulay dahil ito ay naaayon sa inyong budget, panlasa at availability ng gulay sa inyong pamilihan.

INGREDIENTS
-1 whole pork leg
-1 piece Yellow onion
-Onion leeks
-1 tablespoon whole peppercorns
-fish sauce (1/4 cup ginamit ko sa pagpapakulo at pagpapalambot ng pata, then 1/8 cup pang seasoning) pero ito po ay depende sa inyong panlasa at kung gaano kadaming tubig na pinang sabaw po ninyo.
-water (Gumamit po ako ng 4 liters of water)
-2 pieces potato (medium size)
-Cabbage
-Pechay Baguio
-Baguio beans
-Pechay
-Yellow corn
-Banana (Saba)
