hello everyone!

for those of you who are coming to baylor or going to college for the first time in the fall, I've compiled a list of my best college advice from my freshman year! I hope this helps :)

TIMESTAMPS:

CAMPUS:
1:04: familiarize yourself with campus
1:56: walk your schedule
2:05: show up early to your first day of class
2:20: baylor dining halls
4:20: look out for the golf carts :)
4:42: study spot recs
5:53: busy/crowded spots?

SOCIAL:
6:23: go to late night!
7:11: look out for billboards/posters/emails about clubs and events
7:32: get involved with residential activities
7:46: connect with your pre-professional program (if applicable)
8:08: mandatory chapel is better with friends

ACADEMICS
8:33: write down your syllabus info immediately!!
9:15: use a planner or some sort of organization system
9:50: go to the writing center for essays
10:53: profs are awesome in office hours
11:21: stem people, go to SI
11:33: study group responsibly
12:15: adapt your study habits to different classes
13:29: don't use a laptop in class
