-Based on domestic, physical album sales ONLY (minus returns)
-Mid year chart is from the start of January to the end of June 2018

About Platinum Certification badges:
-Certification is new, so only will apply to albums released in 2018 forward.
-Certification is based on the # of sales in the first 6 weeks after release. Even if an album reaches a milestone after 6 weeks, it won't get certified.
-250,000 sales is platinum. 500k is double platinum, 750k is triple platinum, and albums with 1 million sales get the Million Certification.
-Albums so far have been certified a month after their first release. So #3 on this chart has no certification because it was released in June, but will likely be certified double platinum next month. But since it's currently not certified I didn't include a badge.
