Sailing in Greek Ionian Islands of Ithaka and Atokos

We depart Lefkas for the island of Atokos – one of the many islands that are part of the ‘Inland Sea’, the area in Greek Ionian waters protected by the large islands of Ithaca, Lefkas and Kafalonika. This area is very popular with charter boats because of this protection so many anchorages were quite full. However, don’t let that stop you from exploring these wonderful islands.

After Atokos, we visit the island of Ithaka and enjoy a couple amazing harbors and coves before we set off to cross the Gulf of Patras as we make our way from the Western Greek waters to those in the East.

Our next video will dive into our experiences as we cross the gulfs of Patras and Corinth and transit the Corinth Canal.
