Vauxhall Astra Diesel 1.7 TDCi Stalling and Surging

In this week videos we have a 2011 Opel Vauxhall Astra 1.7 TDCi Stalling and Surging issue, the owner of the car stalled a couple times pulling away from a traffic light and the car wouldn't start again straight away, he would have to wait a 5 minutes then try again and the vehicle would start...

Another noticeable issue was the vehicle surging the revs were going up and down specially when the car was cold...

Bear with me still learning what the Autel Maxicom can do and correct procedures but It was a good case study, in my opinion possible causes were contamination in the fuel supply perhaps not regular diesel filter replacement allowing micro bits of dirt getting into the suction control valve and damaging it... i hope you all enjoy the video take care 👍👍👍
