You have to have a lot of PASSION - Three months with my trainingshorse Shadow

Yeah! We're back with a new video. This is Shadow, a pony who went to me in training due to different behavioral issiues. It was also my task to start him below the rider, so he becomes a safe pony to go on a trailride.
What a journey! He has challenged me in all aspects. The day he came he broke free even before his owners have led him in the box. The next day, he broke through the fence. My first task with him was that it was possible to lead him over the barn.

Shadow was a very challenging horse. Luckily, I have been prepared by horses like the Mustang mare Naira, to rise in this challenge with him together.
Shadow is extremely smart and has quickly found out that he can trick his humans, who love him very much.

He has proven me that he needs absolut clarity from me. My safety is a priority and he needs to respect that. At the same time, you do not want to have this intelligent pony against you. So I needed to see every little try and to give him a sense in working with me together. Because if he does, he is incredible motivated and just an awesome pony to play with. He wants to be seen for the amazing horse he is!

I mean, you have to be clear and friendly with every horse. The right timing is important. But some horses reflect it so strong 💥, that they challenge you to truly master this skill!
Thank you Shadow, for teaching me. I could grow on you, but we could also grow a lot together. 💪🏻

You learned to be leaded on a light rope, to accept borders and a no from my side and to put your energy into a wonderful forward movement instead of doing dangerous things (by the way - you are an amazing mover!).
You learned to be ridden without a guidance from the ground in all gaits, and you can even go on trailrides now together with other horses or alone. 😎

Thank you for the amazing experiences with you! And a thank you goes also to his owners, for the trust in me. Shadow is no back home for a while and it goes very well. So happy to hear that!
