Signal - Stan Getz

This is from Disc #2 of the "The Complete Roost Recordings". Most of these were recorded in New York but this one was recorded at Storyville in Boston in 1951. There's another version of "Signal" he did from Disc #1 of the the same CD set and also another that he did on the Prestige label, but this version is my favorite. I heard this for the first time, of all places, at a restaurant in Anchorage, Alaska. I asked the waiter what recording this was and he showed me the CD set and I got it as soon as I could find it. It was composed by the guitarist, Jimmy Raney.
