12 hr TRAVEL DAY as a mom of 4!🥵 Family Vaca to Cancun!

TRAVEL TIPS ⬇️

Whew, 12 hour travel day 😮‍💨🥲 but we made it! This was our first flight with 4 kids, including a 2 year old & 9 month old so here’s how we did it:

✨we like to take early flights so when we get to our destination, we still have time to enjoy the day at the pool & beach!🏝️

✨bring refillable water bottles to fill at a water station after TSA. we packed a lot of snacks because it was 8 of us & we didn’t want to have to spend hundreds of dollars on airport food. This is always so helpful because even though the flight was under 4 hours, the travel day is LONG. It was so weird that customs took the fruit & sandwiches from us though. Last time we came to Cancun, we didn’t have that issue.🤔

✨earplugs for babies & kids (& me too) to prevent ears from popping on the plane. You can also have baby breastfeed or drink a bottle during takeoff & landing to help prevent it, too!

✨pack LOTS of disinfectant wipes to clean your plane seats down & keep the sanitizer readily available!

✨I pack toys that are new to them so it keeps them really busy and excited on the plane. Lots of puffy stickers too because they’re easy to just pull off. Tablets, books, crafts, etc will help the time pass! Just remember to download their favorite movies/shows on the tablet BEFORE the flight, because in flight WiFi isn’t always reliable.

✨we brought 2 strollers. We checked in our double stroller with our luggage and brought along our @evenflobaby Dual Ride stroller (FAVORITE! Turns into a car seat!) for Amari because we knew we’d need his car seat in the shuttle on the way to the resort. This was super helpful but we didn’t have a stroller seat for Kyler through the airport and didn’t think about how exhausted he’d be after waking up at 3am😩 that’s why he was all over the airport floorrrr😵‍💫 lesson learned lol.

✨we always anoint & pray over the plane before getting on and lots of prayer gets us through! Traveling with kids is not easy but sooo worth it🥹.

✨we stayed at @grandpalladiumcostamujeres and it was worth EVERY PENNY!! We literally didn’t want to leave so we added 2 extra days to our trip lol. Can’t wait to share more!
