A Quick Vlog when parents came home | Delicious chicken curry for dinner

I had never been this long to meet my parents being in Kerala. Lockdown sometimes gets frustrated with not able to see your loved ones who stay couple of kilometres away. Finally got to see my mom, dad, brother and sis-in-law. It was a rejoice feel and even kids love when grandparents come home.

I prepared a simple chicken curry which my family, specially my father, enjoyed it. Am sure you all would love it too after trying. Do share me your feedback which I wait and love to hear.

Capsicum - 1 small
Salt
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1 -2 tbsp
Coconut oil - 4 tbsp

Grated coconut - 2 cups
Cashews - a handful
Shallots - 7 - 8
Garlic - 1 whole bulb
Ginger - a small piece
Kashmiri dried red chillies - 5 - 6
Curry leaves - a handful
Cardamom pods - 4 - 5
Cinnamon - a small stick
Cloves - 5 - 6
Black peppercorns - 1 tbsp
Coriander seeds - 2 tbsp
Fennel seeds - 1.5 tsp
Coconut oil - 4 tbsp

Curry :
Chicken - 2 kg
Coconut oil - 4 tbsp
Curry leaves - a handful
Green chillies - 5 -6 slit
Onion - 3 - 4 medium sliced
Salt
Turmeric powder - 3/4 tsp
Coriander powder - 2 tsp
Red chilly powder - 2 tbsp
Tomato - 4 small chopped
Warm water - as per needed

Tempering -
Coconut oil - 3 tbsp
Shallots - 4 - 5 sliced
Curry leaves
Kashmiri red chilly powder - 3 -4
