The Best Grilled (Fathead) Keto Margarita Pizza Recipe!
Making a low carb Grilled Keto Margarita Pizza Ingredients: (Makes about 8 slices)
1 Cup (100g) super-fine blanched almond flour
1 Large egg
2 1/2 Cups (168g for dough + 112g for topping) whole milk mozzarella cheese (Don't do 2%)
2 Tbsps (28g) whole milk softened cream cheese (Don't use 2%)
3-4 Table Spoons (110g) of your sauce of choice (I used homemade with 0% added sugar)
Grilled Keto Margarita Pizza Instructions:
1. Preheat your grill to 400 - degrees.
2. While preheating the grill add the 2 Tbsps (28g) of cream cheese and (168g) 1 1/2 cups of the mozzarella in a medium sized bow and microwave for 20 - 30 seconds!
3. Remove from the microwave, and stir up, then microwave another 60 seconds.
4. In a larger bowl add the one egg, whisk it up and add the cheese from the other bowl
5. then add the almond flour to the mix
6. Mix the the flour and cheese with a small spatuala then use your hands to form the dough until the almond flour is completely incorporated into the cheese. work quickly because the cheese will begin to harden. Microwave 10-15 seconds more if needed.
6. lightly dust your work surface with 2-4 Tbsp of Almond Flour then add a little almond flour to both sides in the dough ball!
7. Use your hands to press out the dough into the shape of a circular pizza crust.
8. Continue shapping the dough until it's about 11-12 inches in diameter. I recommend putting it on a metal pizza tray or plate.
9. Use a fork to score the top of the (to reduce bubbles from forming)
10. Grill at 400 degrees F. for about 3-5 minutes, or golden brown on top (will depend on your grill and pizza stone temp.)
11. Remove from the oven and add the sauce, and toppings.
12. Grill for another 2-3 minutes (or until the cheese melts).
13. Remove from grill, cool and cut and eat!!!
