Woodturning | The Apple Burl

In this woodworking video I use a woodturning lathe to turn a three footed box from a piece of apple burl and a birch burl lid.

When woodturning a piece like i find it important to nibble away at it until I see what shape the wood wants to be, this is what is so enjoyable about woodturning. big log to bowl, but i find removing the wood in layers allows me to find the best possible shape.
