What we know about Rob Reiner and Michelle Singer Reiner's death

New details have emerged about the deaths of famed actor-turned-director Rob Reiner and his wife, Michelle Singer Reiner, after the couple was found dead in an apparent homicide.

The "Princess Bride" filmmaker and his wife were found dead Sunday night in their Southern California home. Law enforcement told multiple media outlets that the couple had been stabbed to death.

The couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, was arrested hours after the Reiners were found dead. The LAPD later confirmed that Nick was arrested in connection to the stabbing deaths of his parents. The case will be given to prosecutors on Tuesday as they consider formal charges against Nick, who is being held in custody without bail.

Police haven’t said anything about a motive for the killings.
