Wood Firing #1

Finally! Wood firing #1 is memorialized in video. I wish I would have documented more of the firing but it was quite stressful. I had 9 hours of sleep in 3 days and plenty of visitors and customers come by during those 3-4 days. Thankfully the kiln fired very well and everyone stayed safe!

Special thanks to Camden Snyder, Cole Cagle, Joseph Sand, and his apprentice Eamon Rogers for the huge help stoking the kiln for this first firing!

Also a huge shout out to my neighbor, friend, and expert metal worker, Wayne Mabe, who did all of the metal work around the kiln to make it possible! You're the man!
