Restoration of an Old Lost Knife. Incredible Handle!
Hello guys!🙌
Today I have the second of four old knives that I bought in one lot for restoration.
I named this knife "Bandit's Dagger" as soon as I saw the finished result. These are my associations.
FRIENDS ATTENTION!
I started a new channel on YouTube.
This channel is all about cooking!
Mostly male food! Everything we like - more meat, and without unnecessary troubles!
Please support my endeavor! Follow the link, look at a couple of recipes, I'm sure you'll like it!
Thank you!

Restoration process:
As usual, I used electrolysis to remove rust. Electrolysis does not affect good metal, but only removes rust.
I wanted to test my new miter saw so much that I completely forgot that this dagger does not require a handle to be divided into two parts, but only a through hole needs to be drilled and the tail of the knife put on.
Then, after a bit of sadness, I found a way out of the situation.
After electrolysis, I cleaned the dagger with a brass brush, and started the final assembly.
I smeared all parts of the handle very well with epoxy glue, and squeezed it with a clamp for 24 hours.
Then he processed the handle on an impromptu grinder, finalized the shape of the handle with a rasp and a file.
Then I used sandpaper from 240 to 2000 grit, and covered with wood finish oil.
I really liked the result, I hope you do too.
There are many more cool and interesting videos on the channel, I will be grateful if you watch some of them!
Good luck to you all and take care of yourself!
See you next week!
Best regards Max!
