COSTA RICA ROAD TRIP 🇨🇷 Tamarindo to Sámara Beach | Vero and Justin (Travel vlog video)

Watch in 4K ✧ Road trip day 5/10. In this December 2020 Costa Rica travel vlog, we drove from Tamarindo to Sámara Beach on Christmas Day!

After spending day 1-2 of our road trip exploring the luscious rainforest of the Northern region and we've just spent day 3-4 in Tamarindo on the Pacific coast. Since yesterday was xmas eve, we decided to treat ourselves to a snorkeling and sunset cruise. This morning we woke up EXTRA early (5am) to grab a quick breakfast at our new favourite spot: Breaking Bread. We then walked along the beach to say our final goodbyes to Tamarindo Beach. We then packed up our Airbnb quickly and headed out towards our next destination in Sámara. Instead of taking the usual route, we decided to take route 160 in order to sneak in a yoga class at the Bodhi Tree Yoga Retreat (it's always been a dream of Vero's to take an outdoor jungle yoga class). Little did we know, route 160 is not paved and full of obstacles (like pot holes and water crossings). Unfortunately, our lil sedan couldn't make it all the way, so we had to turn around after driving 45 minutes on this terrible road. When we finally arrived in Sámara, we unpacked quickly and headed straight to the beach (only a 10min. walk away). We quickly fell in love with the scenery here and the wild white horse we saw taking a stroll. We're so excited to be spending two nights here, it's stunning!
