COSTA RICA ROAD TRIP 🇨🇷 La Paz Waterfall + Poàs Volcano | Vero and Justin (Travel vlog video)

Watch in 4K ✧ Road trip day 1/10. In this Costa Rica travel vlog, we visited top things to do on our way to La Fortuna: Poàs Volcano with it's blue lagoon and the beautiful La Paz Waterfall! We had a blast driving through this luscious green country!

The first leg of our flight was 7 hours long with a short layover in Panama ($375 CAD roundtrip/person). Because we only travelled with carry-ons, we were able to zip through customs, take out some local currency, and jump into our car rental agency shuttle. We rented a car from VAMOS for $50 CAD/day. We spent the night close to the SJO Airport and woke up early to kickstart DAY 1 of our road trip.

Activity number one for this day was a 10:00 a.m. pre-booked Poàs Volcano tour.

Then, we drove around 3 hours to La Fortuna and stopped at La Paz Waterfall on the way (which is free by the way!) and had a quick lunch at a soda.

When we arrived at our Airbnb, "we" (aka Justin) forgot the keys inside and we got locked out- on the back patio. While we waited for our host to open the door, we drove to the town of La Fortuna to eat dinner (at another soda- we were officially obsessed!) and grab breakfast supplies (because grocery shopping in another country is a blast).
