Raptors' Jontay Porter banned from NBA for life for betting

Huge drama in the NBA today. Toronto Raptor Jontay Porter has been banned from the NBA for life. The punishment was announced today after the league completed its investigation into gambling allegations. The NBA found that Porter violated its rules by disclosing confidential information to sports bettors, limiting his own participation in one or more games for betting purposes, and personally betting on NBA games through a friend's account. One of those instances included Porter giving a bettor information about his own health status prior to Toronto's game on March 20th.
