I think about space, and wormholes, and energy, a lot.

I think about this amazing planet we get to live on even more.

It's the only one we've got.

I can't remember at time in my life where people weren't talking about the need to take better care of it.

I think we need to be shouting that, now.

It bothers me every day that animals and trees don't get to just BE in this world. I wish WE could all get better at JUST BEING, so that we wouldn't have such a negative effect on them.

When we were pre-history humans, our main concern was running around gathering stuff and building shelter - in communities.

Now that our basic life needs are taken care of, so many of us must work to address the mental issues the "freedom" of technology causes us, and so few of us live in real communities.

Maybe there would be better mental health if we were expending our energy on basic survival, in a world free from malls and social media.

I can't see sacrificing the life of any living creature for anything one doesn't really need, but wants to buy, because of advertising and the reach of technology.

I don't think it's really made life better... different, but not necessarily better.

Yes, I can make music in bed now.

Yes, I stay up all night doing it now.

That doesn't really improve my life...?

It does, however, keep me from overthinking the state of the planet, and the reach of the universe.

Mostly.
