RV Alaska: Haines Skagway Ferry - Epic Fail

One "dream" part of our Alaska trip was going to Haines to see the bears and then taking the Alaska Maritime Highway Ferry from there to Skagway. We got to see lots of bears in Haines and had a great time there, but a mechanical failure on the ferry scotched our trip. We ended up driving all the way around to get to Skagway.
