The Danish welfare state is, among other things, based on the concept of citizens having equal access to the different services paid for by taxes. The tax rate is high but the taxes are distributed across the public sector. This series will guide you through the essentials about taxes in Denmark. In our first episode, we'll discuss how are the taxes distributed, what is your tax liability in Denmark, what are the tax deductions that you can get in Denmark and how to make sense of the tax system.

We've partnered up with Daniel from yourtax.dk, to give you overviews and tips, as to how to handle taxes as a student in Denmark.
