TITUSVILLE, Florida - Thick Canadian wildfire smoke moved over the state of Florida Monday into Tuesday causing hazy skies, lowered visibility and reduced air quality. Air quality in nearby Satellite Beach and Cocoa reached unhealthy levels early Tuesday morning according to EPA data.

The national weather service in Melbourne says the smoke originates from a distant fire all the way in Quebec, Canada to the south of the Hudson Bay.
