Vande Bharat Express is a semi-high speed train in India, also known as Train 18. It is designed and built by the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai, India. The train is named after the slogan "Vande Mataram" which means "I bow to thee, Mother" and also refers to India as the motherland. The train was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, on February 15, 2019.
