Kitaco Clutch Cover Filter & Sight Glass + Oil Cooler Port Kit Installed on 2019 Honda Grom SF : DIY

Installing Kitaco Clutch Cover Filter + Oil Cooler Adapter & Sight Glass kit that removes the stock oil spinner, removing nearly 2.5lbs of rotating mass from the engine making rev matching easier & lightening the bike. The oil filter setup keeps the engine oil cleaner longer & makes oil changes 10X easier :) The optically clear glass sight in the cover enables inspection of the oil level & color for analysis easily on the fly!

Thanks for watching. This series part of a path to make the Grom safer, longer lasting & slightly faster with a bit more power. So far the modifications include a full loop stainless steel ZOOM exhaust, power commander V & chimera cold air intake with K&N cone filter. A rear fender delete kit & now this Kitco clutch cover filter setup.

Next video we will see the 3 row Kitaco oil cooler being installed.

Future video an addition to the PCV called WBC2 or wideband tuner optimized for Grom SF by Hardracing LLC will be added, a bung tig welded to the exhaust for the Bosch 5 wire wideband O2 sensor & an AF gauge that will enable a future big bore Kit Takegawa 143cc + Koso enhanced intake to enable the Grom to make 14-15 HP, up from 9.7 stock. A koso enhanced oil pump, EBC clutch springs, & Opmid temp sensor & +1 front -2 rear longer gearing will raise the top speed so that highway cruising at 55mph will not peg the engine at 7K rpm constantly.

Enhancing the power output will enable 2up riding with Meg at highway speeds, easier hill climbing with Meg onboard & better acceleration.

Switchable engine control mapping on the WBC2 will enable a high efficiency lean burn setting for commuting to & from work & a high performance mode for freeway & interstate riding sparingly.
