Driving the Pan Am - Finding "Oso Andino" - Andean Spectacled Bear Cubs in Ecuador
See 4 month old twin cubs, and 8 month old Gabriel as they follow their mothers around the mountain. The Andean Bear (Oso Andino) is also known as the Spectacled Bear because of the unique white markings on the face. The only bear in South America, it is found primarily in the jungles of the Andes Mountains.
The Mirador del Oso Andino is located north of Quito, near Pimampiro in Ecuador.
